| Client Request | Create a trendy and luxurious apartment that will appeal to the corporate executive. Fit-out and style targeted at the high-end rental market.
In time, This apartment will be inhabited by the owner, so comfort, luxury and easy living were the key design forces. |
| Design Proposal | We proposed a very unique and tactile program for this project,using a palette of chocolates, caramels and creams with a dash of tangerine to enlighten the overall scheme.
Leather and suede seating were combined with modern leather curtains and window dressings.
Tactile paints were used on the walls in a tan and chocolate suede colour tones. This added great depth to the overall unit. Accessories included Budha figures, stunning leather and bronze mirrors and moroccan glassware.
A key element of this project was introducing striking artwork. As so many different textures and colours were used I commissioned my sister Allison Keating to design and create complementary artwork that would link all of my themes together.
The results were remarkable and the client was delighted with the uniqeness of this approach !
The bedrooms are in stark contrast to the masculinity of the leathers and suedes. We introduced warm raspberies, lime greens and linen fabrics to add a soft and feminine feel to the bedrooms. |
